Kimono (Kitsuke) Workshop: dressing, wearing, and preserving kimono for those studying EWCC Chanoyu.
Immerse yourself in the elegant tradition of Kimono Kitsuke and develop a deeper appreciation for this timeless art. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to:
Properly dress yourself in a kimono for Chanoyu classes and Tea Gatherings
Care for and store your kimono
Move and carry yourself gracefully while wearing a kimono
The four-week Kimono Kitsuke Workshop will be held in February in the JCCCW conference rooms on the first floor of the West Building.

Schedule: Sundays in February, time to be determined
Location: JCCCW, 1414 S. Weller Street, Seattle, WA 98144
Cost: $40 for the four class series

What to Bring:
Participants must provide their own kimono, obi, and undergarments.
If you need kimono items, visit JCCCW’s Hosekibako Resale Store on the 1st floor of the East Building. The store is open Thursday – Sunday, 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
